Fawrah Environmental Camp 2024
The Fawrah Environmental Camp 2024 kicked off on Saturday, September 14, organized jointly by the Besida Environmental Association, the Libyan Bird Society, and the Libyan Center for Research on Terrestrial and Marine Environment. The camp, held in the Fawrah Nature Reserve, aims to protect the unique biodiversity of the area and raise public awareness about the importance of environmental conservation. The camp witnessed extensive participation from experts, researchers, and volunteers, with lectures and workshops presented on biodiversity, environmental legislation, and conservation methods.
The camp lasted for three days, with the Libyan Association of Friends of Traditional Fishing participating actively. Members of the association delivered educational lectures related to biodiversity.
We hope such events continue to support and strengthen environmental awareness and action.
