Participation of Society Members in the National Workshop for the Adoption of Three Operational Climate Adaptation Plans at the Ministry of Environment
Several members of the Libyan Society of Friends of Artisanal Fishing participated in a national workshop organized by the Ministry of Environment, in collaboration with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), to adopt three operational climate change adaptation plans.
The workshop aimed to review and approve strategic plans focusing on:
- The Climate-Smart Blue Economy System
- Ecosystem Restoration in Arid Lands
- Enhancing Green Infrastructure
Participants also discussed implementation mechanisms to support the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) for climate change, advancing sustainable development and environmental resilience in Libya.
