Nairuz Bek Benghazi

Nairuz Bek Benghazi serves as the Executive Director of the Libyan Association for Friends of Artisanal Fishing. She is a distinguished marine science expert with over seven years of experience, specializing in marine mollusks, fisheries management, and ecosystems.

Nairuz holds a Master’s degree from the University of Tripoli and is currently pursuing her PhD in the same field. Her career path—evolving from grassroots volunteering and field research to executive leadership—has equipped her with an exceptional ability to coordinate environmental projects and bridge the gap between scientific research and practical field applications to protect marine resources.
