Omar Abu Aes Hah

Omar Abu Aes Hah is a passionate Marine Sciences Researcher and Volunteer with 7 years of experience. He is a Master’s student in Marine Sciences with a strong focus on Marine Biodiversity, Diving, Invasive Species in the Mediterranean, and Endangered Species.

In addition to his volunteer work, Omar is a Teaching Assistant at the College of Marine Resources, contributing to marine research and education. His research activities include:

• Updating the list of marine species and their distribution along the Libyan coast.
• Studying the abundance of marine species in aggregation areas.
• Inventorying invasive marine species.
• Assessing the status of species under threat of extinction.

Omar’s dedication to marine science and his expertise in biodiversity and conservation make him a valuable contributor to understanding and protecting Libya’s marine ecosystems.
